And when you wake up in the middle of the night--unexpectedly--when you wake up at an odd hour--when you're traveling somewhere and you wake up in a strange place--don't you feel frightened?
New Muses proudly presents Wallace Shawn's Obie Award winning drama of guilt, sin, sickness, and redemption. Robert Hinds stars as the tourist in a strange land. Sick, tired, sprawled on the cold bathroom tile of a dirty hotel, he struggles with his own privilege, his own normality. Suffering as he sees the poor around him. Suffering the sounds of violence in this small war-torn country. Suffering for the chance to change the frozen world. Suffering for the strength to accept his own existence. Powerful and challenging, filled with Shawn's trademark wit and provocative humor, THE FEVER is a dark whisper of the thoughts and ideals which maintain the landscape of our lives. 1.27 - 2.4.2012
