Denmark is in ruins!  The King is dead!  The murderer has married the queen and taken the throne. . . And Hamlet will have his revenge.

Charging onto the Roxy stage is a gritty modern version of the greatest play ever written.  Starring Niclas R. Olson (who also directs) as the vengeful Hamlet, and featuring Bruce Roberts as Claudius, Pearl Schwind as Ophelia, Ron Field as Polonius, Lisa Olson as Gertrude, and Alexander Peterson as Laertes, it's Hamlet as you've never seen it before.

Prepare to be consumed by Hamlet's flowing language and fiery passion as he searches for redemption and revenge.  From the first appearance of the ghost to the final climactic sword fight, Hamlet is dramatic theatre at it's very best.

"They gave it their blood, sweat, and tears... New Muses' production of Hamlet was well received opening night in Morton at the Roxy Theater, especially the sword fight... I like it.  It's a great modernization of Hamlet... Rosencrantz (Hayley Magnuson) and Guildenstern (Loralyn Rosenberg) drew big laughs with their trench-coat coolness.  And the skilled Fiona Thornton proved that a female version of Horatio can be just as charismatic. . . No one was quite prepared for the explosive performance of the vengeful Laertes (Peterson) and his skilled fight scenes with both Hamlet (Olson) and Claudius (Bruce Roberts)... Ophelia (Pearl Schwind) and Gertrude (Lisa Olson) held their own, matching well Niclas' unhinged performance of Hamlet." - East Lewis County Journal
