WINNIE THE POOH
New Muses Theatre Company is pleased to announce a non-union casting call for roles in our upcoming production of WINNIE THE POOH. This production will play in front of a live audience for 12 performances from June 14-30, 2024 at the Dukesbay Theater in Tacoma. All rehearsals and performances will be in Tacoma.
Auditions will be held by appointment on Sunday, April 14 or Monday, April 15th at the Dukesbay Theater in Tacoma. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, April 17th during the evening if necessary. All audition appointments must be scheduled through Casting Manager at the following link:

Sides will be provided at the audition. No other preparation is necessary.
Actors who cannot make the regularly scheduled audition dates, but would still like to be considered, are requested to contact [email protected] to set up an alternate audition date. We will do our best to see you if/when our schedule allows.
Once cast this production will rehearse beginning May 13, 2024 on Monday-Thursday evenings from 7:30-10pm and Saturday afternoons from 2-5pm.
WINNIE THE POOH will perform on Fridays at 7:00, Saturdays at 2:00 and 7:00, and Sundays at 2:00. The Saturday matinees on June 22 and 29 will feature a sensory-friendly design and staging.
While the majority of characters in the original stories are written with he/him pronouns, unless otherwise noted in the casting breakdown all roles are open to actors of any gender.

Milne's timeless characters take the stage in our new family friendly production of this timeless classic. Featuring memorable characters, delightfully familiar stories, and an abundance of childhood imagination come to life, WINNIE THE POOH is the perfect night out at the theater.
Roles available:
WINNIE THE POOH (18-30) Friendly, thoughtful, and sometimes insightful. Always willing to help his friends and try his best.
PIGLET (18-30) Kind, gentle and ordinarily quite shy, but increasingly brave when confronted with a crisis.
CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (18-25) Cheerful and compassionate. Despite being a child, he is much wiser and more mature than many of the other characters.
TIGGER (18-35) Exuberant, happy, irresponsible, full of energy and extremely self-confident. Loves to bounce.
RABBIT (25-45) Friendly but irritable. Considers himself the smartest animal in the forest.
EEYORE (18-50) Gloomy, sarcastic and lovably pessimistic.
KANGA (25-45) Mother of Roo. Kind-hearted, calm and patient.
ROO (18-25) Cheerful, playful, and boisterous.
OWL (30-99) Kindly but pompous.. Quick to lecture, even when he doesn't know the answer.
All roles are open to actors of any gender and ethnicity.
